NBA Monday: New York Knicks At Chicago Bulls Betting Preview
This Monday evening in the NBA, the New York Knicks visit the Windy City to face the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
The Oddsmakers have listed the Bulls as a -8.5 point home favorite, while posting the over/under total at 198.
The Knicks have been on a tail spin as of late – currently riding a five game losing streak. Overall, they own a team record of 18-23 straight up and 17-24 against the spread. Offense has not been the problem for the Knicks as 5 of their last 6 games have went over the posted total. However, on the road they have stayed under the posted total 16 of 22 games this season. Playing on Monday’s has not been too kind to the Knicks as they have only produced 4 wins all season.
The Bulls own a team record of 34-9 straight up and a very respectable 25-17-1 against the spread. They have been dominant all season and in their last 10 games they have been following suit, as they have produced 9 wins out of their last 10 outings – winning at a 90% clip. More bad news for the Knicks – the Bulls have beaten Melo and company, 11 0f the last 13 matchups and at home this season overall the Bulls have produced a 16-3 record straight up.
All signs point to the Bulls in this matchup., but even though the Knicks have been struggling as of late, I like them in this spot to cover the point spread.
Make your play on the New York Knicks to cover the +8.5 point spread.
